Anti-spam campaign on MyTobii Community
We are actively removing accounts with suspicious names. This is why:
Social media on the internet, such as blogs, communities, twitter etc., are becoming more and more important. People use it to get in contact with peers, friends, they use it for professional networking and for getting updated on specific topics.
However, there are actors on this scene trying to take advantage of communities, like MyTobii Community, by spamming, adding accounts "en masse". They use these sites to amend search engine optimization.
Tobii are serious about offering a meeting point for people who are truly interested in sharing experiences around AAC and we don’t like spammers. Therefore we are actively removing accounts with suspicious names or e-mail addresses.
Be careful to choose a serious user name, preferably a name that is consistent with your actual name and/or e-mail address. Once logged in, you can change or edit your user preferences at any time.
See you around!
