Gaze Evaluator - your help in a "try out situation"

| Category:

Do you work with trying out and adjusting MyTobii-systems for end-users and do you have difficulties in trying out MyTobii with a specific user?

You can’t get a good calibration and you are note sure of where on the screen the user can see?

You are going to adjust a communication board for the user and want to know the most suitable size of grids?

Then the Gaze Evaluator would be the thing for you!

The Gaze Evaluator can help you in testing the user’s ability to use eye control and in setting up the system in the best possible way for the user. This is done by finding out where on the screen the user can see and also to set the calibration area, calibrate and finally find out the most suitable grid size.

The Gaze Evaluator is a new function in the MyTobii release 2.4 and can be found on the Basic Settings dialog.

You can read all about in the manual for MyTobii 2.4!

Erin Beneteau:

I just had a fabulous experience in using Gaze Evaluator at a school. The school team and I worked with about 6 students, all of varying ages and abilities. Gaze Evaluator provided us with valuable information on:
the appropriate grid sizes for board development,
what parts of the screen were easiest for the students to access,
and how well students were able to look at a fixed point on the screen.

What was even better is the team is able to save all of that baseline data!
