New Dwelltime Record!
I was fortunate enough to spend the past 3 days at a trade show for rehabilitational supplies in Austria (great country, nice people, fantastic food). The fair called Integra is central information event for special needs folks in Austria, so I met many interesting people.
Among them was Andrea, a really nice woman from Upper Austria, using a MyTobii since last year's christmas. She did not bring her device so she used the one we showed in the booth - and she created so many typos that I was a bit disappointed. The reason was quickly found: the dwelltime was much too slow for her. Even when I set MyTobii to 400 ms she mourned for faster typing. It turned out that her usual dwelltime is 270 ms. I mean 270 ms!!!
She used a regular QWERTY typing keyboard, word prediciton turned off. With the right speed, she did not produce any errors at all.
I was blown away, and I can't imagine anyone could be faster. What is your speed??

it would be lovely to see a video of this girl using her tobii at that dwell speed.

you are not saying that you don't believe me, are you? ;-)
In fact a video of Andrea has been taken, but it does not show her typing at that speed, as it was filmed when the device has been newly delivered to her. I will try to make a video of her next time I meet - which might take a while.

Hi, the dwelltime of Ismail is 420. If I make it slower, he makes much more mistakes. What is your dwelltime?

my dwell time is 843ms. I could probably go faster but still need to read what`s on screen.
