Hello out there. My name is dave, my wife dawn has had a stroke and is now severely disabled. We have been fortunate to obtain a mytobii eye gaze machine but are still having teething problems. When we sort these out my wife is looking forward to using this facility. I am not very computer literate so I am burbling through this and will take any help anyone can give me.My wife is only 42years of age but regardless of the stroke has not lost her sense of humour and can still have a good laugh. We did have the email working on her machine and when its up and running properly she wants to make friends with people in a similar position to her.If I have done this right and if anybody reads this I would like to hear from you. Thanks Dave

What sort of teething probelms?

Do you have to move the battery pack much? How easy is it to fit it to a wheelchair? Do you have any useful tips?

who is this question for?

hey chrisl, The battery pack does not need to be moved often unless the user is moving in and out of his or her chair often, if it is a powerchair you can sometimes wire into the powerchairs batteries. if it is a manual wheelchair then you must fit a battery pack. depending on wheelchair it usually easy to fit to the chair, it uses straps to hold its self under the chair. and plugs into the Tobii. the battery pack is a small VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) Battery, that requires no maintenance at all aside from regular usage, if you dont use it regularly store it fully charged and top it off every 6 months!

Just one little addiction. The tobii battery pack lasts for about 6 hours while under number usage. This means, if one wants to use their P10 all day long, than they should either have two battery packs, or the battery does have to be moved from the wheelchair occasionally.
