I'm writing a master thesis in Department of Computer Sciences in University of Tampere. My aim is to find out how people, who use eye typing systems in their daily life, edit and modify text, which editing ways they prefer and how gaze-controlled text editing could be more convenient to use in the future.

Last summer I made similar questionnaire by sending email to some eye gaze related mailing lists but I got answers mostly from researcher and software developer. They were very informative and useful but now I'd like to have more answers especially from users.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me by answering these questions by replying this topic or by sending email to me (johanna.hakola@uta.fi). Of course all replies will be handled anonymously. You don't need to have answers to all of the questions - every answer, idea and piece of information is highly appreciated!

5. Do you have predictive text input and/or auto-correcting in your systems? Do you use it, and if not, why? How does it work with eye typing?

6. Sometimes one's health condition and experience level changes over time and more or less editing functions might be needed when using eye typing. Is it possible to you to customize and modify functionalities according to your needs?
