tobii v2.4
hi everybody,
The day when the 2.4 is going to be released should be a big day for all mytobii users.
I personally have used the 2.2 version for a long time and apart form its mouse control bit I was happy using it. Then I managed to get hold of the v2.3.2 wich gives me a much more sophisticated mouse control but still not quite the one I need. After having read about v2.4 and tried it at Leicester on an exhibition I can say that I am most excited about having this version on my tobii. In the previous versions I really struggled with browsing the internet and using instant messengers plus playing my music but I beleive with this version it will all change.
I am really looking forward to other tobii users sharing their opinion and experiences about their life with the tobii and to form a great community here in which we all help eachother.

i like the browser of my tobii, too. when i got my tobii, i surfed in the internet for the first time. it was really great!! i like that the buttons become bigger when i look at it. that makes it easier for me... the only problem is that it doesnt work on all links or in a textfield. do you have the same problem?

I was wondering what if us, tobii users who have the communication package could talk to eachother on msn using the built-in chat of the tobii?
anyone fancy the idea?

hi all,
just tried the tobii software v2.4.1. unfortunately, it kept on crashing for a reason so I can`t tell much about it. does enyone know what changes were made in this release?

Hi all,
I`d tried tobii software v2.4.1 on my P10 but it simply froze, then tried v2.4.3 which kept on crashing XP with this error message on blue screen:
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000004,0x00000002,0x00000004,0x804FF572)
After rebooting into XP again, Microsoft`s online crash analysis reported that BIOS is incompatible with the RAM onboard.
No problems with using v2.4 though.
Any help is much appreciated from anyone who has the same problem.

Slight correction. Same problem occurs while using tobii software v2.4.0 :(

seems like Tobii has some bug issues...
is it working with 2.3.9
As far as I know there isn`t such a thing as tobii v 2.3.9 but I can be wrong on that. The v2.4 is by far more sophisticated than the previous ones - mail, web browser, etc. - therefore, I want to use this release.
Unfortunately, I cannot report any good news on the v2.3.2 either. :(

Chris... try downgrading to the release that came pre-loaded when you got the tobii... if that does not work either try reinstalling windows XP and the Tobii drivers.... if that does not work then its gonna need to go back to sweden for repairs..
