COGAIN Leisure Applications--What have people tried?
Hello!
I was just downloading the leisure applications from the fantastic COGAIN website. I noticed that the applications had disclaimers that they may cause problems with some computers. I would like to hear from anyone who has tried these programs before I start recommending them to new MyTobii users. The programs look great and I think that they would be fun applications for people to use with the MyTobii system.
I’m looking forward to hearing your feedback!
Many thanks!

Hi Erin,
I downloaded the Eye art, the Puzzle and the Road to Santiago applications and loaded them onto my P10.
Eye art:
tha application runs flawlessly but I find it hard to control.
Puzzle:
after changing the number of puzzles to a lower number the game crashes every time I want to start it up.
Road to Santiago
tha game runs without a problem but I personally find it difficult to control and to find out what I have to do on the screen, plus the application doesn`t read the storyline out loud and the text dissapears far too fast from the screen.

The Eye Art is for Andrei difficult to control. We thought it would be as easy as VS Communicator. Unfortunatelly it's not... at least not for Andrei (10).
Can we hope that Viking will have its own drawing application in the near future? That would be great!
Greetings,
Mihaela (Andrei's mother)
Thank you so much Chris and Mihaela for your feedback!!
Based on that, I think that I will just try Eye Art and the Carmen Sandiego and use them myself for a bit before recommending them to other Tobii users.
I have had lots of people requesting drawing programs for use with the MyTobii. It would be something great to have, but I'm not sure if it will be something that Viking will have in the near future.
However, if you have a drawing program that you like, I certainly would encourage you to contact the software manufacturer and ask them to consider making their software eye control compatible. They can contact our developers through our website.
In the meantime, if anyone should encounter any other free applications that work well with the MyTobii, I'd love to hear about them!
Cheers!
Erin
I have a photoshop license, and its installed on my Mac right now, to be replaced with a p10 when my arm function goes down the drain along with my speech function...
I wonder if photoshop is eye control capable, would be pretty fun to be editing my photos more precisely heh.
Anyone want to verify photoshop compatability?
with mouse control it is but contact adobe and ask them the question.

Hello,
Chris is correct, if you have a favorite software that you would like to have MyTobii enabled, so that it is possible to access it within the MyTobii system rather than through the Mouse Control/Windows Control, please contact that software company.
At Tobii, we want to have as many partner applications that are "Tobii-ized" as possible, however, as a company, we cannot force other software manufacturers to become MyTobii compatible.
We have some information regarding our partner program on our website and if Adobe sounds interested, I am happy to talk to them about the process and/or put them in touch with the necessary people in our International Headquarters in Stockholm.
Kind regards,
Erin
