Has anyone got experience of SMS application using Bluetooth?

I am having trouble setting up SMS using Bluetooth ... and I can't find appropriate guidance either in manuals or on the net. Can anyone point me at an appropriate source?

So far ...
We have a Bluetooth phone.
We have a Bluetooth key (plugged into a USB connector).
The computer recognises and 'Pairs' with the phone – though there are a number of different types of connection and we have tried a couple with the same result.
When we open the SMS page, there is a disconcerting image of a phone on the hight hand side with a 'no entry' road sign over it.
When we try to interact with the phone ... open inbox, send message etc, we get a message to the effect that there is no phone connected.

Any indication of where to find setup documentation would be much appreciated.

Hi Tony,

in which application are you trying to use your phone? I used grid 2, bluetooth and my mobile.

Hi Chris and thanks for getting back to me. We are trying to use the built-in SMS application in mytobii / grid 2 ... now there is a thought. I have not been looking for documentation on grid 2 ... and ... quite obviously now I think of it, I find what I have been looking for ...

One problem may be the BT-stack used. I would recommend to use BT-dongle that uses the Toshiba BT-stack due to this most often works a lot better then devices using other BT-stack. One example of a device that i have tested to use with cellphone is the Kensington Bluetooth™ USB Micro Adapter. I have not tested it with a P10, but on other mid-performance computers running Win XP and that worked well. The max range is a bit shorter on this mini devices compared to larger devise, but in most cases this is no problem.
