Tobii servers part two

Nothing is perfect but everything can be made better. This is what I say and I think the same goes to the tobii software as well.

I understand that tobii is a quality coincious corporation, therefore all of the products (hardware and software equally) are high quality ones and run fine. Still, there are the odd occasions when they crash. Obviously, as I had already discussed in my previous blog, error reporting could improve things; but I think there is another area where the software has some room to improve.

Every time a problem is discovered, it is patched. Just as with an operation system, these patches are downloadable. What if there was an automated software update system built-in to the tobii?
This system could download the latest available software according to whether it can detect internet connection. Assuming that these servers do exist or are easy to set up.

Anyone think this is a good idea?
